Q1. Hi Adarsh Garg! What motivated you to become an influencer?
Being educated in Fashion, I understand design, fashion & fashion industry. SO when I am professionally trained in this area, I know how to connect with the masses and influence them for fashion products.
Q2. How does a casual day look like for you?
Even on a casual day I keep working, but in a different style. Networking meetings, brainstorming on new ideas over a coffee,
Or internet research are some of the ways I keep myself busy.
Q3. What according to you is your Unique Selling Point?
Bollywood & celebrities inspire me the most, so I try to relate with my audience in a similar way.
Q4. Which was your most exciting campaign so far and what about it challenged you as an influencer?
My most exciting campaign was when I had to promote fashion & jewelry designers through Bollywood celebrities. The most challenging part was to do the promotion in a new and unique style.
Q5. How do you choose the brands you work with? What are the criteria?
They must be original & really working. If my team can use them personally & pass it on to their families, then it is perfect for us.
Q6. What strategies do you use to measure the results of your social influencer campaign?
If I could manage to at least create curiosity among people or if they start coming up with queries related to the product, I consider it a successful campaign.
Q7. Your biggest professional 'aha' moment so far has been?
My biggest “aha” moment was when a lot of people bought & put queries for a product I promoted in Bollywood style.
Q8. How has your life changed since becoming an influencer?
My perspective of looking at brands & products has totally changed. Now everything I use or consume, I do it as if I am promoting it. (lol)
Q9. What does the future of influencer marketing look like to you with respect to brand building?
At present, every other person has become an influencer, but gradually, this is going to be a serious profession which would be done in an organized way just like any other proper business.
Q 10. What was your biggest professional failure to date? What did you learn from it?
Once I attended the launch of a mobile phone brand, but due to miscommunication, could not get the product nor my payment for it, even though I had every minute detail of the event. From that incident, I learnt that communicating about the final collaboration terms & conditions through emails is very important. Also, it is important to keep communicating once or twice a day for your deliverables.
Q 11. If you had to give one advice to the new bloggers/influencers in your field of work, what would that be?
Take blogging or influencing profession as any other serious business activity with a focus of earning profit, selling your services, taking care of your expenses, and vision to grow as a brand.
