Q1. Hi Shiwangi! What motivated you to become an influencer?
The appreciation which I usually get from my friends and family for my dressing and style motivated me to influence more people via social media.
Q2. How does a casual day look like for you?
A casual working day for me is sitting in my bedroom, with my laptop, wearing pyjamas. I work from home most of the day.
Q3. What according to you is your Unique Selling Point?
Being myself! I can never be fake or pretentious and that I think makes my viewers/readers trust me.
Q4. Which was your most exciting campaign so far and what about it challenged you as an influencer?
My recent campaign with Tata Tiago, a video shoot in Mumbai, was so far the most exciting one. The challenge was to learn the entire script in 10 minutes and get the camera rolling!
Q5. How do you choose the brands you work with? What are the criteria?
I love to work with brands whose products I personally use and appreciate. I first use a product, and share it with my viewers/readers only if I like it.
Q6. What strategies do you use to measure the results of your social influencer campaign?
The type of engagement I am getting, of course, is the best mode to check the result. The real success is when people text and ask from where they can buy a particular product. I am successful when I am showing the product to the targeted audience and they respond positively.
Q7. Your biggest professional 'aha' moment so far has been?
While every appreciation by my followers is an “Aha” moment for me, but I was really delighted when the director for Tata Tiago’s shoot was impressed by my work.
Q8. How has your life changed since becoming an influencer?
It really feels good when you know that people are getting influenced by your style, your dressing sense, and the way you live. People now know me wherever I go and that brings an even bigger smile on my face!
Q9. What does the future of influencer marketing look like to you with respect to brand building?
Influencers marketing is certainly the “Current Big Thing” in the market, and it will grow more in coming days. Social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram and Facebook are being watched/used more than the TV sets now, thus influencer marketing is the best platform to create a buzz on for any brand or product.
Q 10. What was your biggest professional failure to date? What did you learn from it?
By God's grace, I have not really faced any such professional failure yet, but yes, I am learning a new thing about this field almost every day. More you meet people, better you grow.
Q 11. If you had to give one advice to the new bloggers/influencers in your field of work, what would that be?
Have patience, Rome wasn't built in a day!
