Q1. Hi Sangeeta! What motivated you to become an influencer?
Since my college days, I always wanted to start my website based on fashion and lifestyle. I wanted to become an entrepreneur and this one thing drove me this far.
Q2. How does a casual day look like for you?
My day is full of ways to find new things in the world of digital media. I spend a lot of time in front of my laptop, phone to generally research on my upcoming content. Reading new updates and finding new trends is my favourite thing to do as well.
Q3. What according to you is your Unique Selling Point?
I make content to empower Dusky Skin Tone in India. This one vision drives me to create content.
Q4. Which was your most exciting campaign so far and what about it challenged you as an influencer?
My all-time favourite campaign is by Tata Motors India. It’s been two years, and now I am collaborating with Tata Motors on their new car launch.
As an influencer sometimes there is a content block in your mind. That’s the most challenging task I ever come across.
Q5. How do you choose the brands you work with? What are the criteria?
I have worked with various brands so far. I believe that the brand should be truthful about the product they are selling. Making false promises is just not my thing. However, sometimes brands don’t respect the work and niche of the blogger. For example, I would never promote something which can hurt the sentiments of my viewers.
Q6. What strategies do you use to measure the results of your social influencer campaign?
I generally check my insights when I have to measure my reach. Other than that, special DM’s about products are like cherry on the cake.
Q7. Your biggest professional 'aha' moment so far has been?
When I got my first campaign within just 6 months of blogging.
Q8. How has your life changed since becoming an influencer?
It has made me a better person. I have accepted myself happily because of my work.
Q9. What does the future of influencer marketing look like to you with respect to brand building?
It’s a great way to reach to your target audience. The future is huge for influencer marketing as people trust the experience instead of simple ads.
Q 10. What was your biggest professional failure to date? What did you learn from it?
Never go to a meeting without knowing the agenda of the meeting.
Q 11. If you had to give one advice to the new bloggers/influencers in your field of work, what would that be?
Don’t be everywhere. Create your niche and be consistent!
