Q1. Hi Snehalata! What motivated you to become an influencer?
My friends always believed in what I said, and I always thought until you document your words, you will never be appreciated. This made me become an influencer.
Q2. How does a casual day look like for you?
Moning with family where we eat heavy breakfast. Then I start writing my blogs, prepare lunch for my daughter, drop her to school, and head to my events. Finally, I have dinner at home, experimenting with new recipes.
Q3. What according to you is your Unique Selling Point?
I write on what I believe. If something doesn't attract me, it will not attract my fans. That’s why I don’t take up subjects which do not interest me.
Q4. Which was your most exciting campaign so far and what about it challenged you as an influencer?
The mot exciting campaign I did was for #holidayiq where my reviews about #keralatourism made an impacful difference in Kerala tourism.
Q5. How do you choose the brands you work with? What are the criteria?
Firstly, I see whether the brand is trusted or not. Secondly, I see their past work and also inquire about them from fellow influencers to know about their experiences.
Q6. What strategies do you use to measure the results of your social influencer campaign?
Insights of my posts and what kind of posts get more attraction.
Q7. Your biggest professional 'aha' moment so far has been?
When I got #GoKerala campaign.
Q8. How has your life changed since becoming an influencer?
It has become very beautiful I must say, but still I feel Delhi abhi dur hai...
Q9. What does the future of influencer marketing look like to you with respect to brand building?
Future is good, but malpractice by some people would make it difficult to stay and sustain.
Q 10. What was your biggest professional failure to date? What did you learn from it?
Not exactly failure, but yes so many campaigns didn’t turn out the way I wanted them to.
Q 11. If you had to give one advice to the new bloggers/influencers in your field of work, what would that be?
Be unique in what you do... Don’t follow your seniors. Everyone has capabilities to get something new out of them.
